Dr. Lana Krause has been a periodontist since 1995. She has always looked beyond the teeth and gums to appreciate her patients’ overall well-being and how that affects their oral health. She has also been interested in learning of ways to enhance her periodontal treatments to get the best results possible for her patients. With this in mind, Dr. Krause was intrigued by the ability of platelet rich fibrin (PRF) to enhance the regeneration of the periodontal structures.

Dr. Krause has used PRF in her periodontal surgeries with bone and gum grafting, seeing the benefits it provides with improved results and quicker healing. Being an all-natural product specific to the patient, means there is no rejection or worry of an adverse sensitivity to the product.

Learning that PRF could be used in other areas of the head and neck, it seemed a natural fit for these procedures to be added to our services. Dr. Krause has undergone training at the PRF Facial Esthetics facilities in Ft. Lauderdale and Jupiter, Florida. Her emphasis is use of PRF in microneedling, PRF injections, and PRF fillers.
