Dr. Thanh Mollica always liked working with her hands and being a part of a team. Originally, she combined these passions as a Physician Assistant. Now that she has spent her time in dentistry helping patients improve the look and functions of their smiles, she always looks back and wonders why she didn’t become a dentist sooner! She truly loves meeting new people, developing relationships, and, more importantly, making a positive impact on others. Plus, the latest technological advancements allow her to constantly grow personally and professionally – another aspect of being a dentist that she truly enjoys.

Before going to dental school, Dr. Mollica attended Case Western Reserve University and Arcadia University. Once she realized she wanted to be a dentist, she chose to attend The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. From there, she completed a General Practice Residency at Mercy Medical Hospital in Canton, Ohio.

Dr. Mollica hasn’t stopped her quest to further her skillset. She has a special interest in Facial Esthetics and is trained in the use of Botox through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She has been providing patients with both esthetic as well as muscular treatment. After taking a course about PRF for use in implant dentistry, she discovered the many benefits of PRF including release of growth factors, accelerated healing times and decreased patient discomfort. This potential for the use of PRF in facial esthetics was what caught her interest. It led her take an Advanced PRF Education training in Facial Esthetics specializing in PRF treatment to provide effective and all-natural procedures.

Away from the office, Dr. Mollica loves spending time with her husband, Jim, and their three boys, Noah, Owen, and Cody. As a family, they love to travel, camp in their RV, and be outdoors. She also enjoys crafting, running, and biking in her free time!
