Dr. Spurling’s interest in facial form began in 2004, when he created custom molds for the fabrication of bomber pilot oxygen masks in the Air Force dental clinic at Dyess Air Force Base. Over the last twenty years his focus on enhancing smiles in cosmetic dentistry has evolved beyond the teeth to encompass the skin of the face that frames the smile. As the science of platelet rich fibrin evolved over the last decade, he has followed the developments in soft and hard tissue enhancement and applied this in his private practice for the rejuvenation of the skin of the face. When new techniques and innovations in this all-natural, chemical-free approach to skin care have come to the market he has been eager to master them for the benefit of his patients. Having joined CARE with the launch of CARE Esthetics Mesa in 2024 he is positioned on the cutting-edge of this exciting field.
