Dr. Brent Van Hala believes in the capabilities of modern technology and innovation, which is why advanced facial esthetics has become one of his biggest interests. He completed various courses in Advanced PRF Education to acquire the latest natural, advanced techniques in PRF treatments and laser therapies. After learning from the best practitioners in the field of facial esthetics, he became a CARE Esthetics provider and started offering CARE Esthetics’ treatments in his office.

With a passport in hand, traveling all over the world, a career in international business initially proved exciting for Dr. Van Hala. Working in Thailand, Rwanda, China, and throughout Europe brought him memorable adventures and relationships, but with it a longing for home. Fast forward in time, Dr. Van Hala pursued dentistry as it provides challenge, and most importantly, the opportunity to form lasting and meaningful relationships with patients. Focusing on complex and multi-disciplinary general dentistry, implants and biologic treatment remain foremost among his passions.

Dr. Van Hala earned his BA in International Studies from Miami University in 1997, then his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2007. With his dedication to continuing education, he has received advanced training from various institutions and events, such as Biolase, The Dawson Academy, the Midwest Implant Institute,  the annual Keystone Dental Symposium, and more. He is also trained in Swiss Dental Solutions Ceramic Implants, Invisalign®, and Chrome Guided Smile and Digital Smile Design.

Dr. Van Hala is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the International Association of Oral Medicine and Toxicology. By developing relationships and understanding patients’ oral health and smile goals, he provides exceptional cosmetic, biologic, restorative, and implant dentistry services in the Northeast Ohio area. Currently, he practices in the Hudson and North Canton locations.

Dr. Van Hala has been married to his wife, Amy, since 2000 and has four children. When he is not watching a sporting event of his child or attending a school-related activity, he enjoys playing soccer, skiing, traveling, cooking, and entertaining friends and family. He and his family attend and are members of Parkside Church.
